Ethan Burris is a professor of management and the Chevron Centennial Fellow at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He is also the director of the Center for Leadership and Ethics for the McCombs School. He teaches and consults on topics relating to leadership, managing power and politics, leading groups and teams, and negotiations.
Adam Cobb is an Associate Professor at the McCombs School os Business. His research focuses on how firms influence various labor market outcomes, and he has published work examining such phenomenon as wage inequality and factors that affect the time horizons used by corporate leaders when making strategic decisions.

Arin Dunn is the director of student-athlete development for UT Austin. He leads the 4EVERTEXAS Initiative, which provides Longhorn student-athletes with everything they need to be successful, including new professional attire and leadership training.

Since starting her own sports agency at age 22, Allison Galer has been a leader in her field. Galer received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and then launched her agency, Disrupt the Game, a full-service agency of sports and entertainment talent, in April 2012. Galer’s impressive client list includes Naismith Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie, two-time WNBA All-Star and ESPN NBA analyst Chiney Ogwumike, and many others.

Ivan "The Hispanic Titanic" Melendez is a standout infielder for the University of Texas Baseball team. Melendez was selected by the Miami Marlins in the 16th Round of the 2021 MLB Draft, but has chosen to return to the Forty Acres for his upcoming junior season.

Tim Nevius is a former college baseball player, ex-NCAA investigator, and sports attorney with over a decade of experience in college sports. Nevius has been involved in state and federal lobbying efforts to advance ground-breaking legislation regarding Name, Image, and Likeness for college athletes and is a regular speaker on college sports issues.

Chris Ogden is a former UT basketball player and assistant coach entering his first year as Managing Director of Men's Basketball. He served as Head Coach for UT Arlington over the last three seasons. He graduated as UT's all-time winningest basketball player, taking part in 97 wins for the program.

Professionals from the Houston Texans, San Antonio Spurs, Faust Distribution and Eventellect will be available for 15-minute conversations on Friday, Sept. 24 from 8-8:45 a.m. to help students network and break into the competitive sports business industry.
Students who attend this event will also be entered into a raffle for tickets to Texans, Spurs, and Austin FC tickets this upcoming season!
This event is limited to UT students and recent UT graduates registered to attend the Texas Business of Sports Summit.
